I have never sent a mothers day card to my mom in China, but not this year. Yesterday I did a research for all kinds of mothers day card and then made up this one for my own. I would love to make the flowers motif as most of the others did for next time, I was just so engaged by the photo taken in Kenya, by Federico Veronesi. I tried to carve it out as it was, not too cartoonish, not too wild world. But I do think I had some difficulty to handle this motif for now, animals are hard to carve. (and the balance of black and white could be better.) Anyway, I hope my mom be happy to see this card.
哎我本来是想写个母亲节卡片的教程来着，结果还是按照自己最想刻的来了。这张刻的不是很成功，不够简单，动物也有点变形了。不过我妈妈肯定不会嫌弃的。哈哈。 话说多年前的母亲节草莓卡片教程还在小站，没看过的可以翻翻。
