Last Sunday I hosted my second stamp making workshop at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre. Although it was raining, five people came and made their pumpkin stamps. It was a little bit challenging to me because of the various of the ages of people, and it was my first two- hour workshop. However, we finished the two- color stamps in time and enjoyed printing Halloween cards!
Here are some of the feedback. Thank you guys! Especially Chantal, your comments is very helpful to improve my teaching for the next time!
- “You provided a very professional and informative session that was both fun and colourful. I enjoyed the configuration of the workshop; ½ hour for a lesson on tools and stamp care, ½ hour demonstration (very helpful), and then an hour for us to delve into our own stamp making. It was perfectly structured and quite easy to follow along. Even the venue (room 212, Charlotte street art centre) provided a perfect balance of tranquility and creative energy. “ — Erin
- “I think your workshop was just the right length, and your teachings were very clear. I will use what I learned in my work. “–Lorna
- “Making a pumpkin was not to difficult, the pumpkin face was more challenging. I think two hours for the workshop was just enough time. I only have one constructive comment about the teaching. Maybe it would make it easier for the group if you do one step at a time, and let us do the same step right after you.” — Chantal
The next workshop will be on Oct 25 sun, and Nov 21 sat. I am looking forward to seeing you !
